Here are some recent cases I have resolved for my clients in the past year. This is not a comprehensive list.
10//2022: Negotiated a settlement of my client's workers' compensation claim. The workers' compensation insurer agreed to pay my client a lump sum amount of money to settle the claim.
9/2022: Negotiated a settlement of my client's workers' compensation claim. The workers' compensation insurer agreed to pay my client a lump sum amount of money to settle the claim.
8/2022: The worker injured her knee while working for the employer. The workers' compensation insurer completely denied the claim. Trial was on 8/2/2022. The workers' compensation judge awarded past and future medical and money benefits to my client.
7/2022: Negotiated an agreement with the workers' compensation insurer to a one-time payment to finish the construction on my client's house. The construction was to make the house accessible for my client who has to use a wheelchair because of his work injuries.
7/2022: Negotiated an agreement with the workers' compensation insurer that got my client medical and money benefits. The case is ongoing.
4/2022:
- Payment of past and current medical and money workers' compensation benefits after employer/insurer had completely denied my client's workers' compensation claim.
- COVID injuries from exposure at work. I was able to get my client workers' compensation medical and money benefits.
- Reemployment after a work injury with the same employer at a different job that my client was able to do despite the work injuries. The pay is equal to or more than my client's pre-injury wage. The client is able to continue to accrue retirement credit with the employer which was very important to my client.
- Payment of past and current medical and money workers' compensation benefits after several years of litigation.
- Payment of remaining future workers' compensation money benefits based on my client's return to work with the employer.
2/2022: Resolved my client's workers' compensation claim for very serious injuries. His money and medical benefits remain open while he waits for an organ transplant.
